The Half Moon Bay Cougar Varsity Wrestlers lost a close one last night to South San Francisco 32-30.   Giving up one forfeit (6 team pts) from the start, the talented squad came up short.  

They had a great week of practice and everybody in the lineup did their part.  As a team, they have never wrestled better together.  The coaches knew it would take our best effort to beat South City with one forfeit in the chamber, and that is what we got....A GREAT EFFORT.  As coaches that is all we can ask for from the team .(and a efficient referee [cough, cough]).   The coaching staff is very proud in how they performed.  We have to put it behind us and beat Terra Nova next week and prepare for the league finals next month.   Good Job team!!                                -  The Coaching Staff
