The HMB Cunha Wrestling Team competed in the Peninsula Middle School League Finals last Sat and took 3rd place out of 9 teams. Most of the teams in the league had over 20 kids and all of them Middle School aged. Our team had only 15 kids wrestling from all different ages, 1st-8th. 11 placed in the top 4.

 4th Grader Jimmy Claitor took 1st place dominating everyone in his weight class.

 6th grader Evan Marschall won his 3rd straight League Title. He pinned everyone to win the championship.

 6th grader Cody James won his second League Title in as many years. He also pinned every opponent.

 Others to reach the finals but lost in very close matches and placing in 2nd were; 1st grader Luke James, 8th grader Spencer Boling, 7th grader Juanito Barajas, and 6th grader Tristan Keller.

 6th grader Anthony Klingele and 7th grader Luis Vasquez placed 3rd.

 4th grader Ricky Camacho and 6th grader Will Fullerton placed 4th.
